We here at Southeastern Equipment Exchange, Incorporated would like to thank you our valued customers and dear friends for allowing us the privilege of serving as your representative in the machinery industry for the past twenty years. It has been our greatest pleasure to assist you in locating the highest quality heavy equipment available to meet each of your job specific needs. For allowing us this opportunity and for the coinciding trust you have bestowed upon SEEI, we are honored and grateful.

As many of you already know, at eleven twenty-three P.M. on December 24, 2008, SEEI’s founder and president, Durward L. Weeks, Sr. concluded his service to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when he passed away at the age of seventy-two from lung cancer. God demonstrated His great mercy when He answered our Dad’s prayer by allowing him to depart the world in an extremely peaceful and pain free way. He will be greatly missed but we look forward to seeing him again at the resurrection of Christ’s family.

Even though our Dad had been battling cancer for the past three years, he continued to work up to his last day trying to meet the needs of his customers. Throughout his career, Dad was always diligent in representing the Lord in his business transactions with the highest level of honesty and integrity. Honoring the Lord Jesus Christ by seeking the best in other people, both personally and professionally, has always been the foundation of our Dad’s approach to life. It is because of this devotion to character and concern for his customers that the Lord has rewarded our Dad both financially and more importantly with a flawless reputation among the most respected and influential business executives around the world.

We believe that Dad would want his standard of excellence to continue on towards his customers and friends in the heavy equipment industry now that he has left to be with the Lord. For this reason and since God has called all of the surviving family members into different areas of service, we will be referring all future Southern Equipment Exchange business inquiries to:

Mr. Townsend has worked with Dad on several joint ventures and has demonstrated the same level of honesty and decency in his work ethic that SEEI customers have come to expect. We are confident that since our Dad has chosen in the past for Mr. Townsend to represent SEEI that he would be pleased for Mr. Townsend to take care of the needs of all our valued SEEI customers.
